White

Alone in my room, I took from my backpack a little plastic bag filled up with a white powder.
I knew I shouldn’t inhale it but I did anyway.
I felt instantly different, it was just what I was looking for.
Some girlfriends came into my room. One of them gave me a weird look. I looked myself into the mirror and I saw a purple spot in my right eyelid.
Soon, my eyes were all purple, completely sorrounded by a dark halo.
“This can’t be right”, I thought. “No one should see me like this”.
I tried putting some makeup… a lot of makeup, but it didn’t work.
I decided not to go out, not even for that (stupid) important thing at school.
